Stephen Bradley’s 2005 Boy Eats Girl

This is one of my favorite zombie horror comedies. British humor at its best!! Share this post!  Read More →

Some Movies That Started it All

Recently I posted a review about the Italian horror film Suspiria. That review exposed (in a non gratuitous Boob shot kind of way) how my fetish for horror came to be. Some of you asked appallingly who would subject me to such things at such a young age, while others began to better understand why I may seem a little "off kilter." For starters, my mother is to blame (thanksMom!) being as my father was not one to leave the house except for work and... [Read More...]

Sci-Fi’s “Ice Spiders”

I do so love movies with giant bugs. And I love the SciFi channel, much to my husbands dismay (apparently the channel does nothing to stimulate brain activity. Go figure.) I especially love when the Sci-Fi channel comes out with an "original" movie that portrays giant bugs in such an unrealistic manner that it transcends comedy and borders hysteria. Like it did with their original movie Ice Spiders. Throw in a couple used up actors singers losers... [Read More...]

Rob Zombie’s House of 1000 Corpses

There are two things I learned while watching Rob Zombie's House of 1000 Corpses: 1. If you wanna see a boob shot of Marilyn Monroe, watch this movie (and don't tell me it's a fake photo!! No one would EVER Photoshop Marilyn!) and 2. Don't ever trust some guy in clown paint. Rob Zombie, founder and front man for the metal band White Zombie, made his directorial debut with the horror movie House of 1000 Corpses. It's the story of four kids, Jerry and... [Read More...]

Trailer Park of Terror

Catchy title, isn't it? You have to admit, it's somewhat intriguing (dare I say enticing?) even if the title implies that it will be filled with nothing more than white trash stereotypes. One thing I knew for sure though, and that was that this movie was right up my alley! For starters, one of the headliners was Trace Adkins, and when a country singer stars in a movie [Read More...] Share this post!  Read More →

Quarantine: a remake of [REC]

Quarantine: a strict isolation, usually imposed by the government in order to prevent the spread of something considered dangerous, such as that of disease. The duration of such being typically 40 days, presuming anyone would survive that long.... TV reporter Angela Vidal (Jennifer Carpenter) and her ever ready cameraman Scott (Steve Harris) are documenting a night in the life of the Los Angeles Fire Department - as seen from the inside - with the... [Read More...]

Clive Barker’s Midnight Meat Train

Ok, so with a name like "Midnight Meat Train" it's probably safe to assume there is going to be meat, though probably not the kind you would want to eat unless you are of the same sick and twisted caliber such as Ed Gein, or Jeffrey Dahmer. Oh, and there will probably be blood on the Midnight Meat Train. Lots and lots of blood. In Clive Barker's Midnight Meat Train, Leon (Bradley Cooper) is an struggling "city life" photographer who gets a career... [Read More...]

Happy Tree Friends = twisted humor

I haven't been much for writing these last few days. I can't seem to get my brain to focus long enough. Old age perhaps? Anyway, I have spent some time surfing the web in hunt for kickin' zombie sites. Sites filled with blood and guts. Sites dedicated to dismemberment. You know - cool shit. And guess what? I found it. Them really. Happy Tree Friends. Now don't let their name fool ya'. They may be happy, but they are anything but your friend. Great... [Read More...]
