I liked this film over all as well. I have not seen it in a while and will have to pop it again one night. I think I may have loaned it out though and never got it back from someone. I hate when that happens. Some of the zombie fight scenes were too much for me really and it is obvious film makers are running out of ideas on zombie deaths. I do not like fast zombies either and do not see the point. There is some debat6e over this,but it is a cheap shot in my book. The fast zombies in the Day of the Dead “remake” were ludicrous, not scary.

This movie had a twist too with the idea of zombies being the result of some sort of voodoo ritual, the way older films portrayed them.

I was drawn in by your teaser about “Boy Eats Girl” hoping to learn some down home Zombie technique, but. Well, you know what. Nothing. But then I noticed at the bottom of your first commentator’s comment: “Tim’s last post…Riding Woody”. So then I got excited again and left you like a used paper towel and went to check it out. Turns out Woody is a roller coaster. Is it me, Petra? What’s going on here? Nobody is producing what they are advertising. I’m finished now. I can’t wait to see what my own last post was about. I can’t remember. I know it isn’t anything about Boy Eats Girl While Riding Woody. But I am going back right now and make a post with that title. Only I will produce, Petra. I am not a tease.

As you’ve probably guessed, I love foreign films, so this would be my kind of zombie flick. Thanks for the suggestion!

And what is with all the fast zombies? Maybe movie-makers are tired of the old slow walking zombie stereotype? Breaking the mold? I’ll tell you what… I like it.

Lastly, one of my best friends when I was a kid – his parents had show Boxers. Interesting breed! Nice friendly dogs too…

Fast zombies annoy me too. I am freaked out by slow zombies. So I guess the slow zombies you can run away from but are near unstoppable. These fast zombies come at you quick but 'die' easier. Tradeoff, eh? Tims last blog post..Riding Woody
