While the movie was okay, I totally loved the books. I really appreciated the fact that the writer planned everything out and left hints and clues through the whole series that lead right into the ending. Yeah, it's romance I guess. Also, I hated the ‘Glitter’ I thought that was ridiculous, but liked the new vampire folklore element.

For me the Lost Boys/ Twilight connection is the sound track and romance element, not necessarily a connection anyone else will get, but I was a teenager when I first watched Lost Boys and watching Twilight just reminded me of that time (silly female teenager type feelings) lol

Ok I am trying to get your correlation between Twilight and Lost Boys but I can’t. Lost Boys was gritty and rough while Twilight was sappy and sweet.

Oh you watched it! I am in shock.

I liked it, it was like watching Lost Boys the noughties edition, well without the humour of that film.

When it comes to vampire films, I am more into romance and velvet, than blood and guts
