<description>Petra I am having such a hard time accessing your site. I found some new proxies that seem to work, but there is no guarantee this post will go out after I send it since proxies can be moody. Lets see what happens shortly...

I had no hesitation abut seeking out this film though I had read mostly negative critiques on the net prior. I tend to not like the movie in a movie gimmick either and have yet to see Cloverfield (but not for that reason, I just have not seen it is all but will).

This is not an outstanding film but a good one and worth watching. it has some wit and humor a lot of other zombie try to go for but fall short in delivering. The gags about slow zombies vs fast zombies is great as well as the girl who complains about cliches during the mummy movie at the beginning only to have them all actualize at the end.

I subscribe to the slow zombie model and feel the newer fast zombies are away to attract the short attention span of the Play Station generation. I have some theories I may share in another post or one on my site as to why zombies would tend to be slow and only get slower. Anyway, I am just hoping against hope that if there was a zombie apocalypse they would be slow and not fast!!!

Lets see if this goes through...

<description>After catching up on a few of your reviews (Wanted, Dark Knight, Day of the Dead 2008 (ugh)), I&#039;m reminded that we wouldn&#039;t make good Netflix buddies unless we were to recommend movies we hated. &quot;Petra, I HATED this movie. You&#039;ll LOVE it!&quot; That said, I was on the fence about this one, wishing only that I hadn&#039;t gone out of my way to see it on the only screen it played in S.F. It definitely didn&#039;t warrant that. The most annoying thing to me though, was that MySpace basically produced it, and wasn&#039;t afraid to baste the movie with its own product placement (which really diluted the so-called &quot;message&quot;).

<description>Petra, it is nice to see that you actually were able to enjoy the movie even though you realize it wasn&#039;t one of Romero&#039;s best pieces. I too thought it was entertaining, and had a more grim feel to it than DotD 2004 (my favorite zombie movie). The film in a film usually makes me angry, but I didn&#039;t mind it too much in this movie.</description>

<description>I&#039;ve been meaning to watch this for quite a while. It sounds like I&#039;ll actually enjoy it. While I do love action, I&#039;m not opposed to something with a little more contemplation.

Have you seen [REC]?
