Unfortunately, I don't run in a circle with those types of people. It seems like there aren't that many good b-movies coming out in theaters anymore though, since straight to video and dvd releases are so much more popular than going through the marketing of putting a flick on the big screen. I'll take any excuse to run my mouth about movies and my opinions! .45 - I must confess that I too prefer the old 1 & 2 feature theaters. Even tho they were a bit run down, they had character that you don't get from the multiplexes of today. MO - thanks for the theater tip. Fix it yourself popcorn and soda??? Located in Coloma, Michigan. It doesn't have the architectural charm of some old theatres, but it does have GREAT cheap ticket prices --- and you get a free soft drink with every ticket! AND a ginormous bucket of popcorn is only 50 cents! PLUS you get to fill the bucket up yourself, so you can put as much butter and/or salt on it as you want. AND over at the drink station they have cherry and vanilla syrup (I always make a cherry sprite!). And did I mention cheap ticket prices?!?! I try to get there early and sit in the back row. I can tolerate much from RUDE people in a theatre (when did texting on cell phones become okay in a movie??) but I can't stand people to talk behind me. Okay... my rant is over.
