Mr. Scary Film Reviewer – where is your appreciation for awful B movies? Don’t you know there HAS to be some place to showcase used up actors! I love to laugh at them. Out loud.

Ryne – why thank you! And yes, the name is absurd but I wanted to point out the positives of this movie. Like……. the cheese factor…… yup, the cheese factor. You are right, I should have poked fun at the name.

Birdy – Thank you for getting it!! That is exactly my point! I wish we could still see MST3000 on tv around here… I miss those guys.

Ghidorah – in my defense, I was also drinking when I was watching the movie. Booze makes everything better. Except Vanessa’s looks.

I have to disagree with you on 2 points: 1) This movie is boooring. Watching paint dry is more entertaining. and 2) Vanessa William is not badly aging, she's becoming more mature and more beautiful than ever...!! Ghidorahs last blog post..?????? (2007) The Night When Evil Fall

I am an avid lover of the cheesy B-Movie, and therefore a fellow Sci-Fi Original lover. They never fail to be either laughable, MST3000-able (I.E., not necessarily funny in their own right, but perfect for lampooning amidst a small crowd of witty people), or surprisingly good–or some combination of the three. And seriously, can anyone think of a monster bug movie that wasn’t funny, intentionally or otherwise?

Having seen this movie a while back, I have to agree that it’s worth laughing at. It falls pretty squarely in the MST3000-able category, as most B-Movies do, and there’s plenty to work with.

I mean, who doesn’t love some oversized, not-incredibly-believably-CG’ed arachnids eating annoying skiers?

Oh god… Sci-Fi original movies…

I can’t believe his name is Dash Dashiel. That in itself should kill off all enjoyment and signal a real lack of creativity on the writers’ part.

Good review, however – very witty, and I love that!
